    Katie’s passion is to help adolescents, adults, couples, and families who are experiencing difficulties due to past trauma or current life stressors. Her aim is to instill hope that change is possible and assist in making that change happen. She believes in creating a safe and supportive environment where individuals feel comfortable talking about their concerns openly and freely.

    Katie brings to her private practice over 15 years of experience providing individual, group, and family therapy in residential and outpatient care as well as school- and home- based settings. Her specialties include anxiety, self-esteem, family conflict, adolescent issues, relationship issues, and depression.

    Katie utilizes a solution-focused, strength-based approach to address each individual's unique issues and specific treatment needs. A variety of therapy techniques are used to encourage and teach her clients to increase their sense of self while learning how to celebrate their strengths and weaknesses.

    If you are interested in understanding and growing beyond the issues that bring you to therapy, or are curious about your dreams, then Ethan could be a good fit to help you. Ethan supports and encourages his clients as he strives to help them to accept themselves and to notice and change the automatic and dimly known parts of themselves which lead them into difficulty. He frequently work with issues such as depression, anxiety, grief and loss, attachment issues, and relationship problems and offer a safe nonjudgmental relationship where he and clients work together to find a way through the issue(s) that bring them to therapy.

    Ethan trained at the Cleveland Psychoanalytic Center in psychoanalytic psychotherapy. Psychoanalytic psychotherapy is evidence based and works for a wide variety of diagnoses and problems. It helps one to understand the meanings behind problems and grow towards greater freedom, self acceptance, and wholeness. Another foundation of his work is Attachment theory.

    Ethan believes that psychological healing and growth develop through growing new abilities and new understandings of yourself and your difficulties within the context of relationship that feels safe and supportive. He enjoys developing such abilities and healing therapeutic relationships (based on honesty, safety, and trust) with patients and look forward to working with you.

    Jennifer has been a clinical social worker and addiction specialist since 1996. She received her Masters in Social Work (MSW) from The Ohio State University and her chemical dependency specialty through her internship at the Addiction Recovery Center at Harding Hospital in Worthington, Ohio. Jennifer has a BA in psychology from the University of Maryland.

    Jennifer she specializes in treating addiction, depression, anxiety, post-partum women, womens' issues, adolescent issues (14+ only), and relationship struggles.

    Through the years Jennifer has had a variety of work experiences including counseling and supervising in dual diagnosis facilities. Her extensive experience ranges from outpatient individual, marital, group and family counseling with mental health and substance abuse cases, to supervising an adolescent AOD unit and a children and adolescent dual diagnosis unit.

    Jennifer has over 20 yrs of experience as a psychotherapist working in a variety of healthcare settings. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from OSU and her Master's in Clinical Counseling from the University of Dayton. She began her career treating substance use disorders in hospitals and rehab facilities and feels passionately about providing quality clinical care to those struggling with these issues, as well as to their families.

    Adept in the diagnosis & treatment of a variety of mental health issues including mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD, grief and loss, divorce, and struggles with spirituality, Jennifer strongly believes in the collaborative process between therapist and client and the importance of tailoring care to each individual through a holistic lens. She frequently integrates concepts of mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapies in her work.

    Krista Sisterhen earned a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Washington in 1989 and is a Licensed Independent Social Worker in the State of Ohio. She began her career providing counseling services to with active-duty service members with the U.S. Army. Her clinical specialties in substance abuse and trauma led her to work with military veterans and their families in residential and out-patient settings. As a result of this experience, she developed a wide range of clinical expertise and began serving individuals, couples, and families in private practice. In 2001, Krista added divorce mediation services to her practice to assist couples contemplating divorce and others looking to restore fractured family or work relationships.

    Krista has advanced training in and uses three complimentary and highly effective therapeutic approaches to support couples: Emotionally Focused Therapy, the Gottman Method and the Family FIRO Model. She is also a certified Discernment Counselor and able to help couples in the brink of divorce determine a path forward with clarity and confidence. Krista specializes in marital therapy, affair recovery and assisting couples with repair and strengthen their relationship with one another.

    Krista has advanced training in and uses two well-researched and effective therapeutic models with individuals: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR). Krista specializes in helping adults with anxiety and depression symptoms and with individuals moving through a significant life transition related to health, work, or relationships.

    Sarah received her bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina, and her master’s degree from the University of Louisville with a Military Social Work Specialization. Having grown up in a military family, and as a spouse of a veteran, she holds all military communities dear to her heart and practice. Additional areas of interest include grief/trauma counseling, anxiety, depression, and obsessive- compulsive disorder(s).

    Sarah has broad experience in an array of specialties and approaches that help her to guide her clients on their individualized therapeutic journey. She has worked within both inpatient and outpatient realms of mental health, and us currently offering outpatient clinical services for individuals (ages 13 and older).

    Krista strongly believe in the strength, courage, and power of each individual to reach their fullest potential. Her ideal client is motivated and open to learning that they do not have to live in their suffering. She loves working with individuals who are mired down by anxiety and are seeking a better way to cope. She has many tools that can be utilized including hypnosis, guided imagery, relaxation techniques, CBT and many others. In addition, she has a passion for working with Women and Women's issues of self-esteem, self-worth, anxiety issues/IBS, weight issues, assertiveness skill building, boundary setting and transitions.

    Krista uses a variety of tools such as Mindfulness, Guided Imagery, Clinical Hypnosis, Bibliotherapy and CBT in order to treat anxiety (which can include Panic, IBS, Generalized Anxiety. She also discuss with clients the importance of additional, non-invasive holistic methods that can enhance therapy (Exercise, Art, Dance and Movement, Acupuncture, Yoga, Nutrition).

    Through her additional training, she has has discovered some exciting tools in treating anxiety, such as Cognitive Hypnotherapy. Furthermore, Hypnosis has been found to be a very effective treatment for IBS. Additionally, she has a certification in how proper nutrition can support mental health and wellness.

    Shauna is an Ohio native, born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio; making their way to Columbus and finding a warm and vibrant home among buckeyes. Shauna describes themself as unconditionally optimistic, eager to laugh, and humbly personable. Before becoming a licensed independent social worker, their past experiences working in retail, food service, and guest accommodations have given Shauna an expansive experience of commonly shared lived experiences; social work. Working collaboratively with clients and using a person-centered approach to therapy is central to the care Shauna provides to clients. Shauna specializes in working with LGBTQIA+ populations, young adults, trauma-related disorders, poly/kink populations, and those who experience depression, anxiety, substance use concerns.

    Prior to joining Seasons Counseling Services, Shauna worked as an Outpatient Mental Health Therapist in an agency setting providing counseling services to adults, children, and couples. Shauna has experience in the non-profit sector with Columbus youth at Kaleidoscope Youth Center and small private practice. Shauna believes therapy can be used as transformative social justice work through empowerment, self-advocacy skills, and recognizing your inherent power. Shauna uses an intersectional, anti-racist, and trauma-informed lens to support and encourage client led growth .

    Education:

    Shauna Tepper is a Licensed Independent Social Worker through the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board. Shauna earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from The Ohio State University. Shauna continued their education at The Ohio State University and graduated from the university’s Master of Social Work program with a clinical focus on Mental Health and Substance Use practice.

    Simon is interested in helping his clients experience the present moment without judgment through body and emotion-focused awareness. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Addiction Studies from the University of Cincinnati and his Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Ohio State University. He completed an 18-month Gestalt theory and practice training program at the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland in 2017. Simon is also trained in Prolonged Exposure Therapy for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. He has previously worked with a large and diverse university student population.

    He is an experienced generalist, with particular specializations/interest in alcohol and other drug use disorders/assessment, trauma, working with LGBTQ persons, anxiety, depression, family of origin concerns, men's issues, bipolar disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. Simon continues to incorporate Gestalt, interpersonal process, client-centered, and motivational interviewing theories.

    Simon believes that each person's unique experiences, cultures, and identities inform the therapeutic process. He strives to not make meaning for others and instead is interested in how his clients are experiencing their full range of emotions in the here and now.
